Click Images for larger images Click Images for larger images Click Images for larger images   After having driven past Port Talbot several times and staring in awe at the spectacle which is the Corus steelworks we finaly made some time to visit Port Talbot and take a series of images. We were not disapointed with what we saw, i am so impressed with the scale of the operation, visually it has an almost a Lord of the Rings kind of atmosphere, Fire, Smoke, Steam, flames and sparks all combining to give a great show! I have taken complete liberties with these images in photoshop in the middle images i have increased the tint and magenta and used Saturation to bring some real colour and drama to the image. In the last image i have just used levels to produce a moody dramatic image. We hope to go back soon and get some closer images and some daytime shots.
